The Risk and Compliance Analyst collaborates closely with our Risk, Safety, and Operations departments, ensuring robust and efficient compliance processes. This role is instrumental in minimizing risk exposure for our employees, project owners, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.

The Risk and Compliance Analyst collaborates closely with our Risk, Safety, and Operations departments, ensuring robust and efficient compliance processes. This role is instrumental in minimizing risk exposure for our employees, project owners, subcontractors, vendors, and stakeholders.
Essential Functions:
- Insurance Compliance Management: Lead the certificate of insurance process, ensuring subcontractor compliance in alignment with company standards. Serve as the primary contact for third-party service providers as well as internal departments.
- Subcontractor/Vendor Prequalification Process: Oversee and enhance the subcontractor/vendor prequalification approval process.
- Insurance Program and Documentation Management: Manage communication regarding insurance program changes and maintain meticulous records of insurance documentation, including insurance renewal dates and requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in risk or insurance field or 5+ years of commercial insurance experience.
- Familiarity with General Liability, Auto Liability, Workers’ Compensation, Pollution Liability, and Professional Liability coverages.
- Understanding of Additional Insured and Waiver of Subrogation endorsements.
- Experience or knowledge of the construction industry, particularly construction-related insurance products and terminology.
- Strong grasp of insurance and risk management principles.
- Self-motivated, analytical, and organized, with a strong work ethic.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with high professionalism.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multi-task, meet critical deadlines, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and adaptability to various computer software systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and client service.
- Risk Insurance designation (e.g., CRIS) is an asset.
