The Safety Engineer implements our safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment on assigned projects.

The Safety Engineer implements our safety program to ensure a safe, healthy, and accident-free work environment on assigned projects.
Essential Functions:
- Assist project teams in establishing jobsite specific safety programs.
- Coach workforce on proper safety procedures and processes.
- Provide safety solutions to technical safety challenges in the field.
- Perform jobsite audits and incident investigations.
- Conduct training sessions.
- Network with local safety groups and associations.
We are looking for someone with:
- OSHA 30-hour construction certification required.
- A degree in safety management, occupational health and safety, or a related field is preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a dedicated safety role or 5+ years of experience in the construction industry.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Practical experience in employee safety training.
- Technical working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and DOT regulations.
- Excellent organizational and planning skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office suite and other industry related programs.
